Again, I would still have the card had they not handled the process so poorly. Losing a single customer is not good business, so I disagree with Mia's assumption. Especially the situation they find themselves in after losing the Costco contract.
We made some money, too, with the $200 airline rebate - Amex was really stupid to make customers mad enough to cancel. My husband has been a cardholder of various versions of personal and business gold & platinum cards for almost 15 years, but now that he's sitting on such a big negative MR balance, they'll never get his business again. Not even with this new mystery card that we're supposed to be discussing in this thread.
