SQ is pursuing a different model. Rather than partner with one or two card issuers and offer promotions, they have signed on with everyone:
- American Express
- Diners Club
- Chase
- Citi
- HSBC
Virgin Atlantic is also a transfer partner of everyone and still provides AMEX with transfer bonuses. In fact, they just offered a 30% bonus earlier this year.
