A verification system would have greatly helped reduce the problem, but Randy was not for that. FT used to be a wealth of information, now you have to sort out between the facts and those living in a fantasy world.... "DL is perfect", "Leo is God"... "DL has can not do anything correctly"... (although I am one of those believers that DL does very little to retains customers"... DL does get you to your destination in one piece... just often times a little frazzled and worn out with no reason to fly DL verses another airline.)

I don't know if DL will in fact improve, and if they do, if the DL forum will return to being a nice place. I do know that back in the mid 90s, the DL forum rarely had flame wars and heated rhetoric, as the DL FFs were the most happy FFs of all the forums on FT. As the airline went down hill, the flaming and endless defending of DL's anti FF's attitude increased on FT.

Only time will tell... remember DL, over time all wounds fester...
