I stayed one night in early September (Fri night) and as a Diamond was upgraded to a Towers Room. I received the same welcome gift but the bathroom in the Towers room was FAR better than pictured here in this suite with a updated separate shower and tube. The shower was spacious with numerous options.

FWIW, the Towers Room was very nice but as a Gold or Diamond with Exec Lounge access I don't think I would pay a premium for the Towers Room vs. a perfectly fine regular room. Particularly as I was only there for a one-night stay before an early morning departure on the Heathrow Express to fly out...
