thanks for this report Carfield.

i flew HK airlines back in 2013 on from HKG to PEK on my way to YYZ. i had a good service and we did get menus on the flight unlike yours which is very weird.

for the price point, i might consider it even if they dont have access to a lounge and the other problems you were faced with.
