We had 2K and 3K and they were great, we buddy dined and drank and then had our own space for sleep/ movies.
The way that the centre pairs are angled I think that you would find it hard to talk naturally through the screen, in fact one couple on our flight in the middle pair were both sitting in their buddy seats to play a game on their iPads together!
