Actually, I did another mattress run there and again ate dinner. Thanks for bringing back the post.

I called GP about not getting points for my meal after the first stay and was told it was a mistake, they were on the eligible list. I got the points.

I went again, had dinner, and once again, no points. This time I wrote to the front desk manager and she indicated that I should get the points in a day or two and that they would be correcting the error in the system. I also found an extra 2k points in my account from the hotel.

But the bigger issue is that they again charged me for the points part of C&P. There was a $35 charge on top of the $55. This time I caught it before checking out, called, and it was removed. It was explained that a C&P reservation needs to have a different type of manual coding than regular reservation.

This hotel does a booming event business on the weekends. The restaurant is not very busy, and it's not because the food isn't good. The people in the hotel are all attending these events and are fed at them.

I will give them a lot of credit for room location - the person checking me in told me that our room would be far away from the groups so we wouldn't be disturbed.

If I didn't live so close, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there.
