It's the thread title that said it was Muslim men.

There are multiple articles and some here say Pakistani monks, some say Muslim monks.

Where is the evidence that the passengers requesting the seat change are even Pakistani monks?

I've seen Pakistani monks, but the ones wearing orange/saffron religious attire as part of being monks? They aren't Muslim. But short of looking at their passports, I wouldn't be able to tell you if they were even Pakistani or not. And I say that as someone who knows the Pakistani area very well.
