I'm not aware about plans to renovate the rest of the rooms.
I've been advised that the rooms in the new wing are small and that there will be no upgrades there.
If you want a nice room the renovated Club rooms are the best. See my pictures above. I've just stayed in the renovated Ocean Dream rooms and while similar in layout I preferred the decor in the Club rooms.
You should be able to get a Plat upgrade to one of the Club rooms fairly easily...
