Hi all,

We have flights booked through a travel agent for 2017 which have been secured with a deposit.

The TA has given us the booking reference so I can buy my seat reservation but MMB says that my only option is to select seats at checkin.

A bit more digging has shown that the booking isn't ticketed (the TA won't until full payment is made).

Finally, the TA has said that BA have a new policy that prevents seat reservations (paid or otherwise) until the booking has been ticketed.

We never had this problem last year, is this something new?
