Can anyone who's stayed here give me a sense of how hard it is to get to the Strip? (I don't want to drive.) People have advised me to stay some other place because of the distance to the Strip, but my wife and I are intrigued by the convenience to the Star Trek Experience.
I stayed there 3 months back and took several cab trips to the strip. About ~$8-$10 to Paris, ~$12-$14 to the south end (Luxor/Mandalay), somewhere in between to NYNY. these are one-way and include ~$1-$2 tip (round up basically).
I personally wouldn't walk to the strip in the dark.
