From Europe, it is pretty popular to travel to Australia/NZ and Southeast Asia. At first, OneWorld Trip Explorer seems perfect because you will do Europe + Middle East + Australia + Southeast Asia and back.

Unfortunately, you are required to stop in SOUTH Africa. Northern Africa is suddenly considered Europe. A stopover on the southern hemisphere, in South Africa, when you want to travel to Australia/Southeast Asia makes absolutely no sense.
Hi rud5, welcome to Flyertalk!

I noticed you mentioned a oneworld 'Trip Explorer' which I'm guessing is the Circle Trip Explorer fare: https://www.oneworld.com/flights/mul...-trip-explorer - this does require visiting Africa (and is a different product from the oneworld Explorer round-the-world fare that most people discuss here). It doesn't seem like that's what you need, although I'm sure it's useful to someone.

Have you considered the Circle Asia & South West Pacific fare: https://www.oneworld.com/flights/mul...h-west-pacific or the Visit Australia & New Zealand fare: https://www.oneworld.com/flights/sin...ia-new-zealand ?

You'd still need to arrange flights from Europe to Asia/SW Pacific on oneworld but once you're there, you can pick up the Circle or Visit fare and move around.
