I was looking at ex-JNB/WDH DONE4s before the prices went up. When the MPM fares were a hot topic I was unable to book until about 24 hours after they were pulled. I've been to Mozambique before and swore I'd never set foot there again, but I'd make an exception for a decent saving, which, IIRC, no longer exists.
As I'd need to break the trip in the middle with an embedded segment to LHR, the cost of this might render a TYO start better value. Basically, it's complicated, and a fares table would help greatly, even if there's some variation with taxes.
