Stayed there for 4 nights in September. No thread for it on FT yet, so here's a short review on this property.
Check in
Smally unasuming entrance, but the lobby was nice and cosy.
Check in was fast and smooth. The clerk was polite and friendly. Chose the snack item as MyWay benefit. The clerk gave us 2 drinks and 2 snacks instead of 1. The 2 little "hampton chocolates" are complimentary for being gold.
Room
Simple and modern. Just like every new hamptons. There was the "newish" smell as well. Although, there was no mini fridge. No upgrade or anything as this hotel only has a single room type. Request for a high floor and got a room on the top floor of the hotel.
Breakfast
Good enough. Just a simple breakfast with the usual cooked food - sausages, eggs, etc. They also had a waffle machine. It gets crowded after 9am.
Location
Located at the new-ish eastern part of Amsterdam. Tram 2 minutes walk from the hotel, 3 stops from Centraal station. 2 Large supermarkets in the vicinity - albert heijn and jumbo, as well as a few bars and restaurants. Also near the river which was nice for a stroll in the evening.

The promenade.
Overall
Nice modern hotel, suits every of my need. Paid 100 euros a night which was a good deal for Amsterdam.
The hilton and doubletree amsterdam central costs 200 euros a night, the other hampton was at the arena which was quite far from the city centre, and the doubletree wharf was inconvenient as you have to take a ferry to and from the city centre.
At this price point, i would definitely stay back at this hotel when i come back to Amsterdam.
However, this hotel is a
CAT 7 property, and it would be insane to use points at this property imo.
