Just wait listed using GUC's from ATL-LAX-SYD on the LAX-SYD portion and the return. I am DM and my wife GM on separate PNR's. What are the chances of clearing early? From what I can tell there are 10 seats available with 3 weeks before we leave. Also there is a codeshare flight that leaves 30 min before ours could we SDS and use a GUC if it would clear?
Can't tell you what your chances of clearing early are, but can say that SDC/SDS are not valid on long haul international flights and are also not valid on partner operated flights. But good luck.
