This is the reason I travel with one suitcase and one carry on. If I don't pay to check my bag I will put my suitcase in the overhead bin and my carry on in the overhead for Bulkhead seats. I am a fan of the Bulkhead because it allows me to stretch out and when the flight has the IFE I like to pull it out from the arm rest or have the IFE screen on the bulkead so no one can infringe on my space when reclining.

I would take a little less legroom if the bulkhead wall extends to having someone recline their seat into my space on a longhaul flight.

On 90 percent of my First Class flights on AA I have been asked for my meal choice first and on a rare instance I was asked for it second or third but never last and they always had my choice available.

Also the Flight Attendant has reserved the overhead space for the Bulkhead which I appreciated. Again I travel very lightly one carry on and usually a checked suitcase.
