1) Where will they fly?

S7 will have two bases for Embraer fleet:

Novosibirsk/OVB with flights to:Ulan Ude,Chita,Almaty and Bishkek;

Moscow/DME with flights to:Nizhniy Novgorod and Voronezh.

Subject to change ofcourse. There are some rumours that S7 will start some regional flights to airports like Kirovsk e.t.c.

2)Aircrafts

All of the aircrafts are expected to come from Republic Airlines (US) and it is expected that they will initially have 10 second hand aircrafts rising to 17-20 in the future. My sources suggest that these will have an all Y configuration with 78 seats.

Aircrafts are expected to start flying in Spring,2017.


Othe fleet updates:

9x 737 MAX (firm contract) to be introduced as of September 2018
3x 321 NEO (firm contract) Configuration J/8+Y/195
2X 320 NEO (agreenment on intent). Configuration J/8+Y/156
2X 767 to leave the fleet in 2017 when the new 320s arrive and the leases on 767 expire. There are no plans as of now to develop long haul network.

The plan is to upgrade all the A32X fleet to NEO version within the next 10 years.
