That's a good idea. Or as an alternative, have technology that will allow the captain or FA to drive the jetbridge remotely. Soon you'd have really talented crews that start driving the jetbridge as they approach the gate so that the end of the jetbridge and the plane reach each other at the same time. The FA opens the door before the engines have even cycled down and disembarkation starts immediately.
