I think it's an absolute abomination that in 2016 such a major airport doesn't have free unlimited wifi.
In Sao Paulo GRU, you get only 1 hour free. I think 1 hour is fair though unlimited would be better of course. I don't know if the rlling back your computer clock thing works there, didn't try.
I've never had no wifi in European airports, except for MAD where I didn't get the free wifi to work (it is there though and in T4S I did succeed in getting it to work). Though to be honest I don't check it always, sometimes if I arrive I just immediately proceed to wherever I want to go.
