I've been there, but I can't remember what I had...

Hate: I DETEST ordering a ham and cheese sandwich, and there is just SO MUCH FRIGGING HAM, it's like, "would you like some bread and cheese with that ham, sir?" Talk about indigestion.

Love: There's a good deli in back of the NY Times building on the south side of 44th Street, just past Carmine's - the 5 * Deli or something like that. I find Jewish deli's are best. My favorite: Rosen's across from St. Pat's. If I were ordering from them right now, I'd get a shaved boiled ham and gruyere sandwich with mustard and mayo on toasted rye or pumpernickel. Mmmm.
