To leave AC Altitude or not
So, having moved to Asia, and having the AQD issue I basically only fly to Canada once or twice a year now. Plus, since I fly so few AC flights a lot of the perks like eUps are not very useful.
I already have E50K for 2017 and am considering starting to credit my flights elsewhere to keep *G. I'm currently looking towards Asiana, as I only need 40k miles every two years to keep *G for two years. So with the flying in Q4 this year + 2017 I should reach it. I know they have less perks than AC (eUps and accumulation bonuses, etc...). Also they do not status match but that is not a big deal for me.
I was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions. Someone did mention SQ's KrisFlyer and then credit UA flights to that, but I'm not sure I will fly 50k/year anymore.
Mods, I'd appreciate a Canadian/AC perspective to see if any other programs have tie ins to AC that I am unaware of.
