If anyone can offer different perspectives and pros and cons for those 3 haciendas, I'd be very grateful.

Of particular interest is the air con. I like it COLD. I also likely would choose a suite/villa with a plunge pool/private pool if available.

Also of interest are food, nearby ruins/town, proximity to a great cenote, etc.
I have stayed at Temozon and San Jose, only visited Santa Rosa. The air conditioning in my room at Temozon was frosty, but I can't say for sure that it would meet your specifications. I also don't think there is AC in the bathrooms, which is my husband's pet peeve. All of the AC units are mini-splits, if that helps. Since all rooms are unique I would definitely inquire about those in your preferred categories.

We are also planning another trip to the Yucatan, likely for November, and trying to decide between Temozon and Santa Rosa. San Jose is too far from where we are going, and my husband hates hotel hopping. We are going for five nights, so I think Temozon might be the best fit as it's a larger property, but I am still undecided.

We have done Chichen Itza (stayed at Hacienda Chichen) and Ek Balam. The latter you can actually climb and the carvings are quite amazing although the setting is less so. Like anywhere, a great guide makes all the difference.

A must-do experience is the private Cenote Xocempich. One of my all-time favorite experiences anywhere. I promise it is worth every penny. I wrote up a brief report here.

Our upcoming trip is going to be Uxmal, Huntichmul, and Kiuic plus Celestun and a cooking class for good measure. Wish we could stay longer!
