I'm flying an ATR from Del to Jai on January 5. The seat map shows paid seats starting at row 8 and going to the back of the plane.

What makes them more desireable? It seems like the pitch is the same, do they exit from the back. Any reason to get them - I'm all for extra comfort but I don't need to be first off the plane (closer to the emergency exit, which is row 1, sounds better than row last).
