Refund on missed flight
I turned up 50 minutes before a flight to New York on Friday but was not allowed to check in in spite of the fact I had hand luggage only. I was then told that because I had missed the outward leg of my flight, I would not be able to use the return leg. I had to buy a completely new return flight for over £900.
BA claimed that this is written in the small print on the website. I don't think it was made clear enough. What could I claim - anything other than just my taxes?
