I wonder if WN will ever retrofit the rest of the 800s? Or even the 700s (unlikely anytime soon, I know). Even accounting for the new 800s coming, it essentially creates two classes of 800 for the next several years -- the bulk with Evolve, and a small portion that have the roomier seats.
Most unfortunate is that the planes that would most benefit from the new seats (the 700s) are not getting them. Understandable from a fiscal viewpoint, since so much money was recently spent retrofitting to Evolve. But, in essence, the bad stay bad, while the good get better.
