So just to clarify, so if I elect to have an overnight connection, are you sure that means I forgo P services the next day upon arrival to the airport ? I would have thought I could still experience the P lounge + drive to the plane etc ?

Also, as I would be a first time AF flyer if I manage to pull this off, which lounge do you get to use at DXB ? And where do you guys reckon I should credit the miles that I would earn ? Are they more valuable when crediting to AF's own program ? Or should I credit to another airline within skyteam ? GA F is another experience I have on my list if that helps in deciding where to credit.
