Was sitting at 39K, got an old lady and her big 2 year old grandson ( he is way too big for the bassinet). The old lady was good and polite although he has to constantly stand up and check the boy. The boy didn't ctry much and his size with legs sticking out made me unable to really watch my IFE. So I plugged in my noise cancellation headphone and slept for the first 6 hours of the flight.
SP gave me a bottle of water right after take off.
I was waken up by the smell of breakfast service and I'm hungary. The ISM showed up and looked at my "poor" seat and she said cause I was sleeping she didn't get the chance to say hello to me. And then she asked "are you in a hurry? Would you like to move forward so you could get off quickly?"
I of course smiled and said yes. She brought me to 20G, a seat with no headphone, pillow or planket. I wouldn't mind at all. I enjoyed a full J meal service right before landing.
I'm not sure if I was awake at the first meal service, would I be upgraded right at then?
Not sure but I think your DM helped.
Was in 39E on a HKG>>>SIN flight and was around a gang of rowdy early 20s of the female species from the motherland anorth from HKG. ISM just said sorry and smiled. The FP in charge of my cabin did discreetly to the group to keep it down
