I agree with the above post go to LVHILTON.COM , look for 'special offers' and click it, then in the middle of the page you'll see 'Hot dates' click that and you'll see a few months of inexpensive rates if there are any! I believe it comes with a 72 hr cancel policy from date of arrival. keep in mind you'll have to register but that way they will email you even cheaper rates at times then what is on their site that can be had ONLY via that email.
If you self-park then ask for the North Tower, as its closest to the self parking garage and you wont have to drag your bags far at all. I did tghe valet once and ONLY once it took too long to get the car back.
also a 5 min walk across the street is The Shara where usually you can find table mins from $1 to $3 depending upon time of day.
