So it looks like Hilton, SPG, Marriott and Ritz can all get top elite status from card spend. Not Hyatt... They better change that. Especially dislike how points stays don't count towards diamond either.
IMO the issues Hyatt ought to consider addressing have nothing to do with ease of Diamond qualification, but rather the picking away at benefits - such as this year's DSU policy change, widespread property gaming on points availability, properties not honoring best available room benefit, and properties gaming the DSU suite category/availability.
The last thing Hyatt needs to do is make Diamond
easier to attain.
