For train travel you may like to check out the Deutsche Bahn Webpage: http://www.bahn.de/pv/view/int_guest...l_guests.shtml Trains seem to need about 7 hours to get to Pilsen.

Travelling by car to Prague also takes a whole day and isnīt too much fun as much as I remember.

I youīre in search for beer specialities why donīt ya check out Bavaria/Munich instead?
