While nothing is impossible, I find it highly unlikely. Most flights from non main hub airports going overseas fly to partner hubs. This way they can feed traffic to/from the partner. Unless there's a company based in BOS, that flies tons to/from DUB and with a contract with DL it's unlikely. Most times these rumors are nothing more then pure fantasy.
To be fair, DL does fly BOS-LHR, and that's primarily O&D traffic (i.e. it's not people connecting to VS.) But I agree BOS-DUB is likely to be low yield, especially since EI is on the route, and I wouldn't hold my breath for DL to start flying it.
