While nothing is impossible, I find it highly unlikely. Most flights from non main hub airports going overseas fly to partner hubs. This way they can feed traffic to/from the partner. Unless there's a company based in BOS, that flies tons to/from DUB and with a contract with DL it's unlikely. Most times these rumors are nothing more then pure fantasy.
My guess is BOS-DUB would be heavy with Boston Irish tourists, so pretty low yield. Ergo, I doubt DL would touch it unless there was some guaranteed source of J pax to offset the tourists.
