Yes that's the case, the Saabs are more space restricted and the agents will be more proactive to get luggage checked in, and they are generally more proactive anyway, the Embraers aren't brilliantly spacious either. My experience is that this is often at the departure gate. It wouldn't change the baggage limit in terms of Basic versus Plus allowances but it could change the enforcement protocol at check-in.
But then if this was the case the check in staff would most likely not have charged for the bag to be checked?
