Actually until EF gets a HK POS, there's a difference in the two methods.

I can replicate cxfan1960's findings in my own EF (minus one seat), but when using https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_HK.html I find:

CX101: I4
CX138: I2

Expertflyer stated POS other than UK and US incl HKG will be added in the future https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/cath...l#post27032553 , but until then we have to use EF for depth and https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_HK.html to find out what lowest fare CX is really selling
