I've always found the service here really friendly, but you're not going to get a boutique experience at a property with this many rooms. Some of us kind of enjoy the chaos.
And the beachfront location is probably the best in Waikiki.
Agree with all these statements completely. We enjoyed our stay, as we knew exactly what to expect.
I think sometimes when you compare properties too much, you'll be disappointed, especially when you compare to a unique resort like the HHV. Sort of felt that way when we stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa...despite being a large Hilton resort in Hawaii with similar policies and amenities, they are very, very different properties. We were disappointed because we expected it to be more like the HHV and it wasn't.
