I got 4 new cards in the last few weeks, all of them the purple Amex SPG. They all work fine with a chip reader. But for some vendors without the chip reader, I have to swipe.
NONE of these card swipe at all. It's not an error message. It's like I'm not even swiping, and I get a timing-out message like "Are you still there?"
Even though I try repeatedly, change cards, try again. Same thing.
Anyone have similar experiences?
