You'll gave the full ground P lounge treatment both ways (lounge, limo transfers, etc).
The CDG-CMN is indeed the European J (middle seat blocked), and yes the catering is different and much better than in Y. But with the P lounge restaurant, you don't really have to care about the in-flight catering.
