I am looking for a very nice-luxury hotel in San Francisco. Since I dont really know the city's hotels well, I am kind of stuck. Of course I know the Fairmont, FS, R-C, (2?) Westins, and I think the Sofitel. I am wondering which of those is the nicest along with any other/independent hotels you know about. They do not necessarily have to be luxury, just relatively high end. I am most concerned about location. I can't really remember SFrancisco locations that well, but something is telling me Union Square: I may be wrong. Thanks for any help

In addition, I remember some talk came up a while ago about the Claris Hotel BARCELONA. Does anybody know the official site for this because I can't seem to find it on Google. Also, what is it "really" like. I think the location is pretty good (last time in Barcelona I was at the Plaza de Catedrale) which was a great location. Thanks also

EDITED TO ADD: The Park Hyatt is fine too (actually very good for me if it is a good location as that will give me Plat status). If this or the GHyatt is particularly nice/good location, that may be a good choice!
