Issue With CI/CAL from SUB-SIN-TPE-LAX
I'm an Emerald Dynasty Flyer with China Airlines and recently, I took CI 752 from Surabaya, Indonesia (SUB) to Taipei, Taiwan (TPE) with a technical stop in Singapore (SIN) and then took CI 6 from TPE to Los Angeles (LAX).
My question is; upon checking in at Surabaya, my bag wasn't tagged as priority nor was I given a lounge pass even though my FF# was in my reservation and I presented my card to the check-in agent. Do you think this is something that I should email/call China Airlines in regards to? My end goal would for them to give me some miles/credit in return for errors made.
Is this something worth pursuing or is it just a dead end? Any experience with getting courtesy miles for errors made on other airlines? Any help would be appreciated.
