I would not expect AC to restart any time soon. I would imagine AC is still upset that BR is flying to YYZ. No codeshare at all between them, either of BR on Canadian domestic routes, or of AC on BR Asia routes.

You want to buy YYC-YVR-TPE, only way is through a TA. Not on aircanada.com, not on the BR site either.

Air Canada & EVA Air kick off code-share agreement

Monday, March 28, 2016

QUOTES:

"TAIPEI, TAIWAN — Air Canada passengers can reach Asia that much easier now that the airline has begun a code-sharing agreement with EVA Air, Taiwan’s first privately owned international airline.

The two Star Alliance members began code sharing on March 10, making travel to/from Asia and Canada more convenient and extending services for both airlines’ passengers.

Under the agreement, Air Canada passengers can take EVA-operated flights from Tokyo’s Narita and Seoul’s Incheon airports to both Taoyuan and Kaohsiung International Airports in Taiwan. EVA passengers can fly Air Canada onward from Vancouver to Calgary and Edmonton and from Toronto to Montreal.

EVA offers five flights a week from Taipei to both Toronto and Vancouver. The new code-share gives the airline’s Canada-bound passengers greater flexibility in planning business and leisure itineraries, and provides them with onward flights to Canada’s leading interior cities.".........
