How do you know the OP knew they would make PLT when this trip was booked? I'm booking a trip for next year right now, and I don't know if I will be PLT or EXP at that time.*

I know that many like to assume the worst possible motive for the actions that others take, but unless you have some special over-the-internet mind reading powers, I don't see how you can make a logical leap as to motive of the OP, particularly since they had no knowledge as to whether they would be entitled to a refund.

*Yes, I get that it's not the same difference. The point is that you don't necessarily know your future status when you're booking a trip.
