Note 7 + GoodLock alternative SystemUI and there you have it, the brilliant S-Pen and almost Stock Android.
Frequent updates...... try searching those words into the Google Search bar on a Samsung phone and watch it explode in your hands.
I actually like the look of the Pixels, so that at least is subjective. My current device is a Nexus 6. I'm just not sure if I want to deal with Samsung's slow to nonexistent software updates.
I should add that I had a Note 7 all set up the way I liked it (with Good Lock) and then the recall happened, and I returned it for a refund. I'm not sure whether to get another or go another direction.
