With wifi coming soon I'd imagine they'd put in place a system where you could pre-order up to X hours before your flight from your app (guaranteed choice) or place orders on board from the app (depending on what's available) in a similar way to VA's system.

It would be able to distinguish between status pax, etc. and adjust prices (i.e. free wrap for GCHs etc) accordingly. It would also allow a payment card / apple pay etc to be loaded to the app so the crew don't have to deal with payments, just serving.

Much smarter system, keeps crewing to a minimum and allows easy targeting of pax for upselling.
