It will be interesting to see if they do that. On some flights half the ET cabin will be getting free grub then. So if it's a better offering this new initiative could end up costing BA more I would have thought. I don't recall Iberia giving it to status pax for free although it's been a while since I flew them in economy....do EI give it to status pax for free I wonder?

I tend to think giving complimentary food only to those travelling on certain fares would be a better and fairer method.
