How do they other airlines deal with hot food anyway? Heat it all up at the same time and hope people buy it or heat it to order which could prove time consuming? Would seem to lot of waste if only half a dozen people want the 20-30 bacon buns the crew have in the oven.
They take your order and payment from the trolley at your seat, and then put the relevant item in the most suitable heating device in the galley and bring it to you when ready. This makes the service routine a bit messy sometimes, with crew shuttling up and down the aisle...
