I just called Emirates, mentioned the promotion to the agent and he registered me there and then. Then made a booking over the phone - double tier miles confirmed :-)
Same here, sent Skywards an email and they registered me for the double tier miles promotion although I never got an email informing me of the promotion.
So it would seem only the e-mails informing of the promotion are targeted, not eligibility for the promotion. No idea what the terms and condtions are, so perhaps someone could post the original link / text? Thanks.
