Hello, I was wondering if anyone had experience with receiving (or not receiving) night credits toward elite status, points and elite benefits when staying in a special-rate block of rooms, in both self-paid (e.g. wedding) and master-billed (e.g. attending a conference where room is paid for by conference) situations. i have both of these types of stays coming up, and i was wondering what to expect. thank you, and my apologies in advance if this is covered by earlier threads - did a few minutes of due diligence, didn't find anything recent and satisfactory. both of these stays will be at regular Marriott hotels.
