Wonder if your TA is confused by DL's recent (Jan 2016) "clarification" of it's baggage check policies for interline, which wouldn't apply anyway since MU's policy would govern as the first carrier.

Or if your TA is thinking this would be on separate tickets which might require you retrieving baggage in ICN.
