But in all those cases, you are being sent to another SWISS/Iberia/bmi lounge.

I know of no other airline that refuses access to all of its business passengers (with the exception of one route, YYZ) to the only, own airline-branded lounge at their main hub, instead sending them to a generic third-party-run lounge.

Imagine BA turning away J ticket holders at LHR T5, sending them instead to the newly-opened Aspire lounge, while welcoming Iberia J pax and status customers in economy. Just because. There would be (rightly!) uproar!

(How soon before your flight can you clear US preclearance at DUB? Don't they realise that the setup whereby they only sent you down when you needed to go was ideal?)
