A couple of years ago, I had need to change a budgetair.co.uk ticket, and my call was routed to their call centre in Berlin (it transpired).
The chap that I dealt with had a distinctly North East England accent and, when asked, he volunteered that he'd formerly worked at the BA call centre in Newcastle.....
